Accessibility Statement
Last updated
We want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We build to WCAG 2.2 level AA and test every change. If something doesn't work for you, tell us and we'll fix it.
1. Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That’s the standard behind most accessibility laws, including the European Accessibility Act, the UK’s public sector regulations and the ADA in the US.
2. What we’ve done
- Keyboard: every link, button, form, menu, filter and pop-up works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline
- Screen readers: pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels; custom controls (dropdowns, date and time pickers, tick boxes) announce their state
- Forms: every field has a visible label; errors are explained in words next to the field, and focus moves to the first problem
- Colour and contrast: text meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio (3:1 for large text and controls), and colour is never the only way information is shown
- Motion: animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion; nothing flashes
- Text: pages work when zoomed to 200% and on narrow phone screens, without sideways scrolling
- Images: meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers
3. How we test
Every change is checked with automated accessibility testing (axe), keyboard-only testing and checks at phone and desktop widths before it goes live.
4. Known limitations
- Some animated headings draw a word as dots. The real text is always present for screen readers and search engines, and the effect is skipped when reduced motion is on.
- Pages we link to on other websites, and third-party tools such as the WhatsApp chat, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
5. Report a problem
If you have trouble using any part of this site, email hello@amionyx.com with the page address and what happened. You can also call or message us on WhatsApp if email isn’t convenient. We’ll reply within 5 working days and, where we can, give you the information another way in the meantime.
