E-commerce development and marketing that ends at the checkout.
One team for the store, the ads and the emails: product pages that answer buyers’ questions, a checkout with the payment methods your customers expect, and campaigns measured by orders and margin.
This page describes how we approach e-commerce brands and online stores. Ask us for relevant work samples.
Traffic is expensive. Losing it at checkout is worse.
When the store and the marketing are run by different teams, each blames the other, and shoppers keep leaving at the same places.
Friction on mobile
Slow pages, missing size guides and shipping costs revealed too late.
Missing payment methods
A checkout without the way the shopper actually pays.
Rising ad costs
Google and Meta get more expensive as a brand scales.
Profit you can’t see
Analytics don’t show which products and channels make money after returns, discounts and shipping.
How we approach it
- Treat the store, the tracking and the campaigns as one system.
- Get more from existing customers: second orders, reviews and referrals.
- Clean customer data and email and SMS flows that are actually switched on.
- Check every change in one part against the others.
What we do for online stores.
- 01
Store builds on Shopify, WooCommerce or custom
Shopify for most D2C brands that want to run the store themselves, WooCommerce when you already live in WordPress, and a custom build on Next.js with a headless back end when your catalogue, pricing or B2B rules don’t fit a platform.
- 02
Payments for every market
Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay for international buyers, and Razorpay with UPI, cards and wallets for India. Multiple currencies, tax-ready invoices and cash on delivery rules where they make sense.
- 03
Product pages and checkout
Clear photos and video, size and fit guidance, delivery dates and return terms near the buy button, reviews, and product structured data for Google. We shorten the checkout, show shipping costs early and test the full path on real phones.
- 04
Performance marketing
Google Shopping and Performance Max, search, Meta and Instagram ads, with product feeds kept clean and campaigns judged by cost per order and return on ad spend rather than clicks. You pay the ad platforms directly, never through us.
- 05
Email and SMS retention
Welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase, review request and win-back flows in Klaviyo, Shopify Email or the tool you already use, plus WhatsApp where your customers prefer it. Consent is collected properly for each market.
- 06
Analytics you can act on
GA4 with e-commerce events, server-side or API-based conversion tracking for Meta and Google, and a dashboard that shows revenue, repeat purchase rate and cost per order by channel and product.
How we would work on your store.
A new store typically takes four to eight weeks, depending on the catalogue and integrations. Marketing and retention usually run month to month once tracking is in place. You get a written update every week.
- 1
Week 1
Store and data audit
Under NDA, we review the current store, speed on mobile, checkout, product feed, tracking and any ad accounts. You get a prioritised list of fixes and a written proposal within 7 working days.
- 2
Weeks 1–3
Design and catalogue
Designs for the home, collection, product, cart and checkout pages on mobile first, reviewed in Figma. We plan the catalogue structure, filters and URLs, and the import of products and customers.
- 3
Weeks 3–7
Build, payments and tracking
Store build on a preview link, payment gateways, shipping and tax rules, integrations with your inventory or fulfilment tools, and tracking checked with real test orders.
- 4
Launch week
Launch
Redirects from any old URLs, product feeds submitted to Google Merchant Center, core email flows switched on, and your team trained on orders, discounts and content.
- 5
Monthly
Grow and retain
Campaigns, feed and page improvements, and email and SMS work reviewed each month against orders, margin and repeat purchases, with a short written plan for the next month.
Who this is for, and who it isn’t.
A good fit if
- D2C brands launching a store or moving off a platform they have outgrown
- Online retailers whose ads bring traffic but not enough orders
- Brands selling across borders that need several currencies and payment methods
- Stores with a customer list but no working email or SMS flows
Probably not for you if
- Marketplace-only sellers who need Amazon or Flipkart account management rather than their own store
- Stores expecting paid ads to fix a product, price or margin that doesn’t work yet
- Anyone looking for a guaranteed return on ad spend: no honest agency can promise one
What e-commerce development and marketing cost.
Store builds are usually a fixed price for an agreed scope; marketing, retention and ongoing development are billed hourly or monthly. Ad spend goes directly from you to Google and Meta and is never marked up. There is no lock-in, the store, ad and email accounts stay in your name, and if a deliverable doesn’t match the agreed scope we fix it at our cost.
Starting from $49
Questions we’re asked.
It depends on the platform, the number of products and variants, custom design and integrations such as inventory, ERP or shipping. A Shopify store with a refined theme costs far less than a custom headless build. We send a written proposal with the full price within 7 working days.
Shopify suits most brands that want hosting, security and updates handled for them and plan to run the store without a developer. WooCommerce suits businesses already on WordPress that want full control and don’t mind managing hosting. We recommend one after looking at your catalogue, team and budget.
Yes. A store can offer Razorpay with UPI, cards and wallets to Indian customers and Stripe or PayPal to international buyers, with the right currency shown to each.
Yes. We export products, customers and order history where the platforms allow it, map every old URL to its new one with 301 redirects, and check Search Console after launch to fix any errors quickly.
It depends on your margins, average order value and how often customers buy again, so there is no single figure. We would work out the break-even return on ad spend from your own numbers first, then judge campaigns against that.
Yes. We set up and write the core flows, such as welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase and win-back, then campaigns for launches and sales. Copy is written in English or Hindi in-house; other languages need copy from your translator.
We start by finding where shoppers leave, using analytics and recordings, then fix the usual causes: surprise shipping costs, forced account creation, missing payment methods and slow mobile pages. An abandoned cart email or SMS flow then brings back some of those who still leave.
