A team in India, working to your hours.
The practical answers to what international clients ask before hiring a team in India: when we are available, how we talk, how contracts and payments work, and who owns what at the end.
Hiring a team in another country raises fair questions.
Before a portfolio or a price, you want the basics answered.
Time zones
Will anyone be awake when you need them?
Who you talk to
Who is your contact, and how often will you hear from them?
Contracts and payment
How do you pay, in which currency, and under what contract?
Protection
What protects your idea, your data and your code?
How we approach it
- Based in India, working with businesses in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Australia and India.
- The answers below apply to every service on this site.
- Anything not covered here, ask on the first call and we’ll confirm it before you sign.
What working with us from abroad looks like.
- 01
Time zones, market by market
The UK and Europe overlap with India for most of the working day. The UAE is 1.5 hours behind India and Saudi Arabia 2.5 hours behind, so it is almost the same working day. Singapore is 2.5 hours ahead. Australian afternoons are Indian mornings, with Sydney 4.5 to 5.5 hours ahead depending on daylight saving. For the US and Canada we agree fixed overlap hours, usually your early morning and our evening, and fill the rest with written updates.
- 02
Support hours agreed in writing
For each project we write down when someone is available, how fast we respond and who to contact if something breaks. We don’t promise 24/7 cover; we agree hours that match your market and stick to them.
- 03
One named contact and your tools
One named person knows your project. We use Slack or Microsoft Teams for messages, Google Meet or Zoom for calls, and a shared project board you can check at any time. Weekly updates are written, and demos come as recorded walkthroughs.
- 04
Contracts, invoices and payment
Proposals and contracts are written in English. The currency and payment method are agreed in the contract before work starts, and you get one invoice per billing period covering the whole team. How that invoice is treated for tax where you are is a question for your accountant.
- 05
NDA first, and you own the work
We sign an NDA before the first detailed call, yours or ours. The contract states that you own the code, designs, content and accounts, and we set up hosting, domains and app store listings in your name wherever possible.
- 06
Data, privacy and language
We design and build with GDPR and similar laws in mind, including those in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and India’s DPDP Act. That is awareness in how we work; we hold no certification and don’t give legal advice. Hosting is set up in a region close to your users. We write in English and Hindi in-house; for other languages, such as Arabic or German, we build with copy from your translator.
What happens once you get in touch.
The same order for every enquiry, wherever you are.
- 1
Same working day
A reply the same day
We reply with a few questions and call times inside your working hours.
- 2
Within a few days
NDA and a short call
We sign the NDA, then have a short video call about what you need, your deadline, your budget range and how you like to communicate.
- 3
Within 7 working days
Written proposal
Scope, timeline, price, what is out of scope, the overlap hours we will keep and the payment terms, ready to share with your team.
- 4
Once the contract is signed
Kick-off
We set up the shared board and your chosen channels, confirm the named contact and the update schedule, and start work.
When working with us from abroad makes sense.
A good fit if
- Businesses and start-ups that are comfortable working remotely with written updates and scheduled calls.
- Teams that want a few overlapping hours each day and clear written answers the rest of the time.
- Companies that want a contract, an NDA and full ownership of the work set out before anything starts.
Probably not for you if
- You need a team on-site in your office or your city.
- You need documents or content written from scratch in a language we don’t write, and have no translator.
- You need round-the-clock support but don’t want to agree specific hours and response times.
What it costs to work with us from abroad.
There are three ways to pay. A fixed quote for an agreed scope, so you know the full cost before work starts. Hourly, for work that is hard to scope up front. Monthly, for ongoing support, marketing or a dedicated person on your team. Our rates are the same wherever you are based; working across a border doesn’t add a premium. The currency and payment method go into the contract.

Questions we’re asked.
It is as safe as the agreements behind it. With us you get an NDA before the first detailed call, a contract saying you own the work, and access to the repository and project board throughout. Check any agency, including us, for those things.
Yes, for agreed hours. Europe and the Gulf share most of our working day. For North America and Australia we fix a daily overlap window in the contract, with written updates covering the rest.
The currency and payment method are agreed in the contract before work starts, and you receive one invoice per billing period. For the tax side in your country, check with your accountant.
Either. We read and sign yours, or send ours, before the first detailed call.
You do. The contract states that the code, designs, content and accounts belong to you, and we set up hosting, domains and app store accounts in your name wherever possible.
We design and build with GDPR and similar laws in mind and host data in a region near your users. We hold no certification and can’t give legal advice, so your own adviser should confirm what applies to you.
Yes, including right-to-left layouts for Arabic. We write English and Hindi in-house; for other languages we build with copy from your translator, so the words are right for your market.
